Today is Yvonne's 3rd day of School. Teacher will send her photos at school from time to time to me. She is learning new things everyday.

Today is Yvonne's second day of school. She seems to be ok with her school life. Hope she can get used to her new school. 

Yvonne's First Day of School

Today is Yvonne first day of school. I am so proud of her that she is so brave going to school. We registered her to QDees Kindergarten and hope she is ok with her new school. 

Happy Valentine's Day 2025

14th February, 2025

Happy Valentine's Day! This year i was surprised by my hubby by sending me a bouquet of flowers to my company. This is the first time i received flower at my workplace. Thanks hubby for the surprise. 

Our Valentine's Dinner tonight. Since my hubby couldn't simply eat any food, we went to eat porridge. 

Took lots of photos with my flower at home tonight. Thanks hubby for the Valentine's Day gift. 

My Hubby Emergency Situation

10th February, 2025

After discharged from hospital for a few days, my hubby conditions seems to be ok. He can eat normally and do things normally. He only got some effects like having lots of gas in the stomach and feeling pain at his scar area. When everything seems to be fine, suddenly emergency situation happened today.

Around midnight today, my hubby has been having gastric pain and cramp. His pain continues until 3.00am, he couldn't bear the pain anymore, so he woke me up to bring him to the emergency department at Borneo Medical Centre Hospital. The emergency Medical Officer gave my hubby the gastric jab to stop the pain and advice us to come back again to see the specialist again in the morning. So we went back home again and rest for a while.

My hubby gastric still continues even though jab was given before. So we went to see the specialist in the morning but to find out, the doctor that did the operation for him before was on leave. Then we have no choice to visit another doctor. Doctor said need do blood test and CT scan only can determine what cause the pain. After the test and scanning, we got the result after one hour. It is not a good news, the CT scan showed that his small bowel is bloating and his stomach is full of food cannot be digested. There is a blockage too at his small bowel scar. So my hubby needed to be admitted to the hospital again to remove all the food from the stomach and his digestion system rest. He needs to Puasa for a few days to see if it recovers or not. If not, will need to do an operation again. This time it really scares us. My hubby almost getting depression because of the bad news as he couldn't bear to go through the operation process again. I keep on praying that he will be ok and recover smoothly. 

Spend the day at the hospital whole day and forced to take emergency leave for three days. Kids needed to take care of themselves again. Having takeaway food or ordered food from FoodPanda. I am back busy go to and fro to hospital just like before.

11th February, 2025

After a day hospitalised and monitoring, finally the food and fluids in my hubby's stomach has been cleared off. Then doctor said need to wait until he has any farting or poo poo, if there is, meaning that his small bowel passageway has no blockage. Pray for his speedy recovery.

12th February, 2025

Today my hubby has finally got fart and poo poo. This is a good news. Doctor said my hubby can discharge from the hospital. So this time he needs to really take care of his food intake. 

Actually today is Chap Goh Mei but with my hubby condition, we are not able to join the family gathering dinner with my in laws. So we are just having simple dinner at home while my hubby can only eat porridge for this week. 

There goes our CNY for this year. It was such a challenging and tough year for us but thanks God for all the blessing and strength given during this hard time!

CNY at Hospital

 31st January, 2025

Our 3rd day of CNY is being spent at the hospital. My hubby needed to be hospitalised to monitor his condition. As he also has difficulties to move around so he needed somebody to attend to him. So we had to plan how our kids meal be and so on. Then my life becoming very busy as I need to go to and fro from my house to hospital everyday.

So I accompany my hubby at the hospital during night till afternoon time, then Kelven will come over to accompany his dad until it is time for him to go to work part time at night, while I went back home to take bath and settled Yvonne until she was asleep at night. I will went back to hospital again. 

The kids are having takeaways for all the meals. It is either ordered from FoodPanda or Kelven went out to order takeaway.

1st February, 2025

My hubby is still very weak today. Most of the time he is sleeping and rest on bed. He could start to consume some liquid drinks today. Pray for his fast recovery. 

2nd February, 2025

My hubby is recovering better today. He still need to use those portable pee pee bottle as movement is still not convenient. He can start to consume porridge. Doctor asked to monitor his conditon again tomorrow. Probably can discharge soon.

3rd February, 2025

Today my hubby has finally discharged from the hospital around 7pm evening. Doctor has been coming to check on his condition in the morning and evening time. My hubby is able to eat porridge and walk slowly by his own now. 

The cost of the surgery and hospitalised cost is around RM28,000+. It took us a day to worry about the money, even though he got medical card to cover his surgery and hospitalised cost but because Borneo Medical Centre Hospital is not the panel hospital for AIA insurance. Then we need to bear the cost by our own first then only can we claim for it. Thanks god we finally got the help of my hubby's family to lend us the money for it. Really appreciate it. 

This operation has left a big scars mark on my hubby's tummy. Pray for his fast and smooth recovery.

Happy CNY Day 2

30th January, 2025

Today is the 2nd day of Chinese New Year. Celebrating dad in law’s birthday by having brunch at old house today. Cooked braised chicken wings as dish.

But something unlucky happened after the celebration. My hubby was admitted to hospital. It began this morning actually, he has been going to toilet and had bloody poo poo. He is quite worried at first but I comforted him to monitor the condition, if it continues then we need to see doctor immediately. Then after the brunch celebration, he had his 6th time bloody poo poo. Immediately we went to the Emergency Department at Borneo Medical Centre.  

At the Emergency Department, he needs to take the blood test to check if he is infected by any virus around his stomach area. After around one hour to two hours, the report is out and said he is safe from the stomach virus. But need to do endoscopy to determine what is the cause of the blooding. The Emergency doctor called the specialist, Dr Chen for advices then he advised us to be admitted and do the endoscopy by today evening. 

He was given medicine to clear all the food in his stomach before the endoscopy. During this period he has been to the toilet for a few times to clear all the foods in his stomach. Around 10pm, he went to do the endoscopy. After that we waited for the report come out. The report was out around 11pm something. We were told by the doctor that there are ulcers in his small bowel and there is one of the ulcer is bleeding non stop so need to do operation immediately. 

We were very shocked at that time and at that situation, it was like we were not given any choices to choose. Just have to accept the condition and arrangements by the doctor. My hubby was being sent to the operation theatre around 12am something. During his operation time, it was the longest waiting time I have been experienced before. It seems like the time has stopped. I was waiting outside the operating theatre for almost 4 to 5 hours. It was so cold and I am worried to death hoping that his operation went smoothly. 

Thanks god that the operation went well. The doctor said one small part of his small bowel has been taken out, the part where the bleeding happened, leaving around 8 inches of scar on his stomach. He still needs to stay at hospital for further monitoring. 

Happy CNY Day 1

29th January, 2025

It is the 1st day of Chinese New Year. This year is a rainy season. Some of the area in Miri is having terrible flood. 

On our way to our old house, Padang Kerbau area is terribly flooded.

This year my Dad in Law invited the lion dance to the house for performance today.

Then having a rest in the afternoon while my hubby gambling with his siblings. Having fun times taking photos with Yvonne. 

We went to have our dinner at Secret Recipe tonight.

My girl keep on asking me to take photos with the CNY snacks.
