Today is Day 9 of my confinement day. These are my confinement meal for the day.

Now baby Yvonne will wake up early in the morning and play with us a while before getting back to sleep.

6th December, 2021

Today is Day 7 of my confinement day. These are my confinement meal for the day. 

Today bring baby Yvonne for jaundice checking again. The reading is 10.3 which is higher than a few days ago. Still need to go back for checking after 4 days. Hope she will be OK since she stop drinking my breastmilk since yesterday.

Today is Day 6 of my confinement day. These are my confinement meal for the day. 

Baby Yvonne still looks yellowish today. So we decided to stop breastfeeding for today onwards and monitor her condition again. 

Surprise Gift

4th December, 2021

Received these today and I was wondering who sent it to me. As I didn't make any online purchasing recently. Thought of maybe it is from any online survey that I fill in for free sample but also wondering it is impossible that they give so many as sample right. In the end, find out it is from my sister as gift for me and my baby. Feeling so touched and happy receiving such useful gift. Thanks sis. Also my baby received a big angpow from her grandmother. Thanks mommy for the angpow for your granddaughter. Love both of you so much 😘! 

Confinement Day 5

Today is Day 5 of my confinement day. These are my confinement meal for the day.

Been working on breastfeeding Baby Yvonne recently. Now I will normally pump out my breastmilk and store it into the breast milk storage bag. Then put it in the fridge for Baby Yvonne next feeding. I find out baby Yvonne will prefer bottle feeding rather than directly breastfeed as she seems like having difficulties sucking my nipples and it makes her very tired sucking especially when she is very hungry.

Confinement Day 3

2nd December, 2021

Today is my Day 3 of my confinement day. These are my confinement meal for the day. 

Today my hubby brings Baby Yvonne to check for her jaundice condition as we see her looks a bit yellowish today. Luckily we get the report from the doctor by tonight and tell us that her reading for the jaundice is still consider normal, the reading is 7 while if it is over 10, we need to really take note and bring her for checking again. Baby Yvonne seems growing days by days now. 

Confinement Day 2

1st December, 2021

Today is my confinement day 2. This is how my confinement meal looks like today. 

Starting the life of breastfeeding. Eventhough not much milk supply, but still trying to feed her if I can. But the breast pain of breastfeeding makes me feel like giving up breastfeeding. Tonight my breasts are so so hard and bloating just like hard Rock. Can also feel there are hard bumps around the breast too. I keep on massaging it to help feeling better and pump the milk out to help. Couldn't really sleep well tonight because of the pain. 

Another New Plant in the House

My hubby added another collection of his plants today. I think it is a kind of lime tree.
