Chinese New Year 2016

8th February, 2016

First day of CNY: This year is the most unlucky year for us, as on the first day of CNY, Kelson was admitted to the Hospital due to severe high fever. He was admitted to Columbia Asia Hospital around afternoon time, as the doctor said his temperature is too high around 40 degree, he has to be monitored at the hospital.  Actually after last night reunion dinner, when we were back home, Kelson has started having a bit fever but we didn't think that it could get so serious the next day. My poor Kelson, been crying loudly when the doctor wanted to put the tube into his nerves. So our first day is spent at the hospital. My hubby and I been sleeping at the hospital to accompany Kelson for the whole day. Couldn't sleep well because we have to monitor his condition from time to time.

Second day of CNY: Been staying at the hospital today too, as Kelson condition is not stable yet. 

10th February, 2016

Third day of CNY: Today I have to work so my hubby is the one who has to take care of Kelson at the hospital today. But I tried my best to go visit him during my lunch break time and immediately went to see him after my work. Luckily this evening, Kelson can already be discharged from the Hospital as his condition is going stable. We are so happy. Thanks god for the blessing.

Chinese New Year Eve 2016

7th February, 2016

Chinese New Year is coming soon. I have taken two days leave earlier just to do the house cleaning and baking some cakes. Too bad still feel like time is not enough to do everything. 

Been baking four types of cakes this year and the rest of the CNY goodies were just bought from the supermarket.

For Chinese New Year Eve this year, all of us went for the reunion dinner at my hubby's big brother's house. Each of us prepare a dishes, so I just simply prepare a dish of claypot tofu. The kids are feeling very happy for the celebration but for me, I am not very excited at all. Maybe when you are getting old, this day is not as excited as before.

Battery Swallowing

1st February, 2016

Just back from Kl last night. Once I arrived in Miri, I have heard a shocking news from my hubby that.......my Kelson has accidentally swallowed a small battery into his tummy. What the???? At first I thought I heard wrongly but it is true. My hubby has bring him to see the doctor at Columbia Asia last night. The doctor said it should be ok, the battery will come out together with his shit. 

So this morning, I still went to work as usual but then my hubby was very worried and bring Kelson to see the child specialist, Dr. Cheah, and the doctor advised us to bring Kelson to be sent to the General Hospital. So my hubby quickly sent him to the General Hospital and immediately my Kelson is admitted to the hospital. I was so so worried the whole day at my work place. Can't even concentrate in my work at all. Supposed I have to work overtime today but I took early leave back to go and see my Kelson. 

Tonight I am staying at the hospital to accompany my Kelson. Hopefully the battery can come out as what the doctor said, by poo.

2nd February, 2016

Couldn't sleep well last night at the hospital. Been waking up a few times for the whole night. Since the battery is still not coming out yet from his poo, so he still need to be monitor at the hospital today. I took emergency leave today just to be with him for the day. Hopefully everything can be fine soon. We have been feeding him a lot of stuff today just hoping that he can quickly poo it out. 

Thanks god for the blessing. Finally the battery is out around evening time today and luckily I have found the battery too from his shit. Kelson is discharged  from the hospital around evening time today. 

Can see the battery has changed its colour from silver to brown already.

We are so so so happy once the battery has been out of Kelson's tummy. 

Precious Moment with My Mom and Sis

Since I rarely have the chance to be in KL, so I took this opportunity to visit my mom and sis too. After my orientation programme ended yesterday evening. I have asked my mom and sis to fetch me at the hotel to meet them. Gonna stay with them for 2 nights then going back to Miri. 

Taken last night right after we reached my mom house. 

Since our time together are very limited so we are only spending our time at my mom's saloon today. Since she still has to do her business too while I can do my haircut and dye my hair too. Too bad my sis is having her annual dinner tonight, so she is not around today for the day. But we managed to take photos together in the car and outside my mom's house this morning before she left for her annual trip plan.

Today is the day for me to go back to Miri. So this morning, I went to my mom's saloon and wait till afternoon to get to the airport. Managed to take some photos with my mom and sis. Thank you mom and sis for always being there for me. Love you guys so much. 

Orientation Programme at HQ KL

28th January, 2016

Being selected by the company to join their orientation program for all the new staffs at the headquarters in KL. So on the 28th January, I still work for half day in the morning then went to the airport for afternoon flight to KL. Going on the trip alone, all by myself. So kinda nervous too.

Once I arrived at the KL Airport, I took a taxi to the Midvalley Cititel Hotel, accommodation arranged by the company.

Been spending the night walking around the Midvalley Shopping Mall till my leg pain. Having a nice sleep tonight.

29th January, 2016

Early morning, wake up and get ready to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant then went for our orientation programme at our HQ which is located in Damansara. 

Spending the whole listening and learning more about my new company. Quite an experience and feeling very happy to have given the chance to know more about my company and the staffs too. 

Met my roommate which is nice girl who came from Kota Bahru, Aznida and a nice guy who came from Ipoh, Alvin. Only three of us are those who came from outstation branches. Capture photos with them during our break time.

There has been some new update with my working life recently. I have been working with Henry Butcher (Miri) Malaysia Berhad for the last two months and starting from January 2016, I have joined this new company, Public Mutual Berhad. Everything is so new to me, so I still got a lot to learn. Hopefully everything will be going smoothly for me and hope that this is what i really want to do.
